Confab: Maximizing your power, influence, and word bank to advocate for underrepresented users

In spring 2021, I partnered with fellow content strategist Art Schwartz-Restrepo to deliver a presentation at Confab, the world’s largest content strategy conference, focused on using content to advocate for underrepresented users. Because we were still reeling from the impacts of Covid-19, the conference was fully online, meaning Art and I delivered our talk on a “virtual stage.” Once attendees finished watching the presentation, I facilitated a Q&A session and shared resources mentioned during our discourse.
